I enjoyed experimenting with a slightly muted palette. I achieved this by mixing a color with its complimentary color. So to make a muted green, I'd add a touch of red.
I was in a dark mood and painting this while listening to good old fashioned The Cure really cheered me up.

wow - you continue to amaze! i really like this one. you used darker colors in it but there definitely a positive feel to it, whatever she is musing about is good thing. can't wait to see it in person! love the cure too!
oh and i like spewing paint!
