This painting is a tribute to one of my favorite paintings, Flaming June, by Lord Frederic Leighton. I also painted it to put on my bedroom wall. I would buy a print of the original, but I hate prints. I'm kind of a snob that way. A print is like a piece of art without the soul. On that note, buy prints of my art here: imagekind. All kidding aside, it was fun taking a classical style painting and giving it a whimsical, impressionistic twist.

Sometimes
This is the first painting I've done since the move from Orem to Springville (AKA Art City). The model is my brother. He's an uber talented indie film maker. He wanted a "light purple" face, so I gave him one.
